Southwire Surge Guard (portable LCD) error code DELAY
Start-up / restore countdown, not a fault. The LCD shows 'DELAY' and counts down in seconds while the red CAUTION light flashes; RV power stays OFF until the count reaches 0. After a HIGH or LOW voltage trip, once the voltage is back inside 102-136 V, the unit runs a 128-second delay before it restores power, which lets A/C compressor head pressure bleed off. CONFLICT (logged): the start-up delay is 10 seconds in troubleshooting guide 506-00022A and in the training manual ('10 second start up sequence'), but step 3 of the operating instructions in both operating manuals says the caution light stops flashing after 128 seconds.
What to check, and in what order, is in the app. The flow Southwire Surge Guard portable - LCD message to cause (pedestal, coach or unit) walks this code step by step with the pass/fail measurements, wiring schematics and procedures that go with it, and it works offline in the bay.
