MTI Safe-T-Alert 85 Series error code Alternating red/green LED + 1 beep every 15-30 s (Gas LED off)
MALFUNCTION / SERVICE SIGNAL (85 series): an internal fault was detected - the Gas LED stays off, the Operational/CO LED alternates red/green and the alarm sounds once at an interval. The manual prints THREE different intervals for this one signal: the prose says once every 15 seconds, the signal table says BEEP EVERY 30 SECONDS, and the troubleshooting chart says beeps every 15 seconds. Treat ANY alternating red/green with a periodic single beep as this signal. The alarm operates normally down to 7 VDC; do not operate it below 7 VDC.
