Cummins-Onan QD error code OIL TEMP-PRESS (QD 3200)
Fault message: the engine lubricating oil temperature is too high or the pressure is too low. The oil pressure and temperature switches are connected in parallel; at rest and cold the pressure switch is closed and the temperature switch is open. Oil pressure switch is normally closed (closes between 2.5 and 3.6 psi), normal pressure 36 psi at 3100 RPM; oil temperature switch is normally open (cold) and closes at 135 C (275 F). Engine-internal oil pressure system repair is outside the suite's scope (manual refers to the Engine Workshop Manual). QD 3200 (HDZAA) - this inverter-type diesel shows TEXT MESSAGES on the remote Operator Panel display, not the blink codes of the QD 6000-10000 '(QD)' entries. Warning and fault messages, once cleared, cannot be retrieved; to clear faults turn the display off/on.
