Dometic CRX (Secop BD electronic unit) error code 3 blinks (Secop BD)
Compressor start failure. The compressor motor could not reach the minimum start speed of approximately 1850 rpm within the start window. Suspect rotor lock, severely undersized supply (sag during inrush), refrigerant overcharge from a previous unauthorized service, or condenser blockage forcing high head pressure on start.
What to check, and in what order, is in the app. The flow Secop BD Compressor Fault — Universal 5-Code Chart (Dometic CRX / Vitrifrigo / Whynter) walks this code step by step with the pass/fail measurements, wiring schematics and procedures that go with it, and it works offline in the bay.
