Cummins-Onan QD error code GEN WAIT (QD 3200)
The generator set is delaying the next start attempt to allow the starter motor to cool down, or more time is being allowed for engine preheating because the ambient temperature is below freezing. The set makes up to three start attempts, cranking each time for 5 seconds and pausing for 2 seconds. QD 3200 (HDZAA) - this inverter-type diesel shows TEXT MESSAGES on the remote Operator Panel display, not the blink codes of the QD 6000-10000 '(QD)' entries. Warning and fault messages, once cleared, cannot be retrieved; to clear faults turn the display off/on.
