Hughes Power Watchdog EPO error code E8
Missing neutral at the coach - the Watchdog sees no neutral circuit INSIDE the RV (after the Watchdog), not at the pedestal. Running without a neutral can burn up appliances. On a generator without a neutral-ground bond, E7/E8 is expected. SOURCES DISAGREE on reset: the EPO manual says power returns automatically once fixed; the current Power Watchdog FAQ lists E8 as a manual-reset code. The manual's detailed section is headed 'NEUTRAL MISSING (FOR 50A ONLY)', while its code table gives no amperage.
What to check, and in what order, is in the app. The flow RV surge protector / EMS fault lookup walks this code step by step with the pass/fail measurements, wiring schematics and procedures that go with it, and it works offline in the bay.
